Peter Sanchez was elected to the Board of Commissioners with his term beginning January 1, 2016.Working for Southwest Suburban Sewer District in the Burien, White Center area, he brings over 33 years of wastewater experience with him. Prior to working for Southwest Suburban, Peter worked as an auto mechanic, served four years in the US Navy and then work for a bridge building company. He has an AAS Wastewater Technology from GRCC, held a Class IV Treatment certification with the State of Washington and a voluntary Collections System certification. Peter and his wife Brenda moved to Federal Way in 1982, raised one son and have a grandson. In his off time, Peter likes to spend time with family, does the “heavy lifting” in Brenda’s garden, and enjoys his hobby of model railroading.
