Conserving water is vital to the health of the entire planet. People, plants, animals all depend on water for survival. Humans, like fish, will not survive without an adequate supply of clean water. The only way to protect the resource is to make the most efficient use of it as possible. Public education is the first step in safeguarding the resource.
Each year Lakehaven Water and Sewer District (aka The District) offers complimentary calendars to our customers created from winning art submitted by Federal Way School District elementary students depicting water conservation and preservation needs for the environment. This is a fun activity that gives the students a chance to learn about water conservation while using their artistic talents to demonstrate their ideas. One grand prize winner is selected for the calendars' cover along with 12 other works of art for each month of the year to be displayed in the Districts' annual printed calendar and on our public website (http://www.lakehaven.org) Home page slideshow.
★Complimentary calendars are available starting December 1st each year. Please visit customer service at our Administration office building location to pick up a 2019 calendar while supplies last!
