At the Board of Commissioners' April 11, 2002 meeting, the Board began discussing issues related to Low Pressure Sewer Systems and to what level of involvement the District should have in terms of ownership, design, construction, maintenance, and financing of this type of system. In June 2001, staff held a meeting with Lakota Beach area residents at the Lakota Wastewater Treatment Plan to discuss sewer alternatives.
