LAKEHAVEN UTILITY DISTRICT RECEIVES
DISTINGUISHED BUDGET AWARD

The Lakehaven utility District Board of Commissioners recently received notification from the Government Finance Officers Association that the District has received the Association's "Distinguished Budget Presentation Award". The award was given to Lakehaven for the 1999 calendar year budget. Board member Dick Mayer commented, "This award and recognition by the GFOA is fantastic. It further enhances my strong belief that we have truly professional personnel in our Finance Department and is a tribute not only to these folks, but to all the staff at Lakehaven who have consistently contributed their time and talents".

The Government Finance Officers Association, a non-profit professional association serving 12,650 government finance professionals throughout North America, issued the attached press release with its notification of the budget award.
